Who Am I?

I’m Nat Kale, Water Resource Planner, GIS enthusiast, and all-around problem solver.

Where Did I Come From?

I grew up on a dairy farm in Southern Wisconsin.  I received a BA from the University of Minnesota, Morris with majors in Philosophy and Spanish.  I received my Masters in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs in 2008.

I’ve had all kinds of jobs, but most recently I’ve worked as a planner for two Watershed Districts in Minnesota and as the Phase I MS4 Permit Writer for the Washington Department of Ecology.

What’s This All About?

Occasionally I do neat stuff that I don’t want to forget about, and maybe even give others the opportunity to benefit from my mistakes and successes.  I’ll be putting up some of those projects here.
